In her article “What Drives Readers to Your Content,” Lenna Garbain, provides useful statistics on how to get your content discovered. She proves that “Americans are gravitating toward an exploratory, contextual information-discovery process.”

Some of the statistics touch upon on:

· What influences consumers to click on content
· How consumers determine the quality and trustworthiness of content

In the article “Your Content Strategy Should Not Be Real Time,” Michael Brito claims that although every brand should have a newsroom, it should not be the focus their content strategy. “Brands cannot sit around for news to happen and then try to build a story around it. They should already have a story!” He also discusses the need for brands to have a consistent narrative and how that requires planning; highlighting seven considerations brands must have before building a content strategy.
