AS13_80x80Next week, more than 4,400 digital retail professionals will gather at the Shop.org Annual Summit in Chicago. So what do retail insiders talk about when they get together? A lot of it is about change. How much — and how fast—it’s coming.
It’s clear that retail is not the same game it was 15 or even five years ago. With smartphones nearly always in reach and instant access to information the norm, technology is enabling a new reality: customers are empowered like never before.
