Mobile is complex—there’s no doubt about it. If you don’t already have mobile options for your website and digital content, then you’re definitely behind the eight ball. But don’t worry—below, we’ve compiled a handy, dandy list of your options.

How to create a website easily navigable from a mobile device:
- M dot website (m.yourURL.com)
· When a customer tries to access your website from a mobile device, they are redirected to this website, designed for mobile devices.
· This is a standalone website, which means you have two different websites: your mobile site and your “traditional, desktop site.” You’ll have to update both to keep them consistent from a design perspective. If you’re using one CMS for both websites, you won’t have to update the content, per se, but you might if the content begins to break the design of the mobile site.
- Native Apps
· These are designed for use on a mobile device.
· Users can navigate these sites without a mouse and keyboard.
· Apps are most valuable when you present interactive content. Think about when your customer has to look something up, make a request or give information in order to get a complete response.
- Responsive Design
- When a customer accesses your website from a mobile device, CSS technology interacts with the device to detect browser window screen size.
- Once it receives the data, responsive design scales your website according to template.
- It doesn’t matter which device the person is using.
- There's one code base, so you’re not updating two websites.
